Betty is graduate of Dale Carnegie Toastmasters program who recently retired from the University of California, San Diego with 36 years of service. Under the Umbrella of Housing, Dining and Hospitality, she worked as an Office Manager for Dining Services and Human Resources, then promoted to Administrative Specialist to manage the campus Meal Plan and Debit Card Program. Many of her other duties include Newsletter Editor, Training Coordinator, and Financial Administrator. Betty has been on numerous committees to include hiring, incentive programs, and conducting student orientations. Her favorite pastime for the last 20 years has been involved with a chartered Christmas club serving as President, Vice President, Secretary and Hospitality. Helping others is her passion which includes raising awareness for drug addiction, homelessness and making a difference in their life.
